There are also popular local tourist attractions to take in such as Lynn Canyon Park, the Olympic Cauldron at Jack Poole Plaza, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, and so much more. If you’re planning a trip to our fair city in the latter part of February or into March, you'll have a chance to watch a world-class rugby game, take your kids to a fun interactive show, or laugh out loud at a comedy festival. On the pitch

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a hardcore rugby fan or not: everyone can get on board with the HSBC Canada Sevens 2020! Taking place on March 7 - 8 at BC Place Stadium, this sporting event promises to be action-packed and fast-paced with live entertainment and an opportunity to meet the athletes. A total of 16 national Sevens teams compete for World Series points. Whichever team at the end of the season has accumulated the most points will be crowned the Champion. Join in on the excitement and cheer on your favourite players. Get your tickets today!

For the little ones

Are you travelling with your little ones in tow? The stage production of Hands and Feet will bring fun, wonder, and entertainment to kids aged 2 to 6 years. This is an innovative theatrical experience that involves the performers interacting with members of the audience. Kids will be thoroughly engaged with an intriguing presentation of sound, movement, and imagination. Wordless expressions, through claps, snaps, skips, slinking and tip-toeing, evoke a playful and inventive spirit that will capture the attention of children. The show runs from February 26 through to March 1 at the Presentation House Theatre.

Comedy central

Are you looking for a good laugh while you’re in town? If you're in the mood for alternative comedy where the usual stand-up routine doesn't apply, a great change of pace would be to take in the JFL NorthWest: Best of Blind Tiger Comedy. Expect the unexpected when 3 teams of long-form improv performers compete for your laughs! Taking place at the Little Mountain Gallery on February 21, at 9:00 pm, this showcase presents cutting-edge comedy that takes audiences in wonderful and surprising directions.
